Brief description

The VNT WI-FI climate convector is a wall-mounted fan convector for heating and cooling, equipped with DC inverter technology and Wi-Fi control. It combines a compact design, aluminum fins and a painted metal structure with modern control via the integrated control panel or the Smart Life app.

Material and workmanship

Housing made of galvanized, painted metal with thermal insulation and aluminum alloy grids. Fin heat exchanger with hydrophilic coating for high heat transfer efficiency. Top cover made of high-strength plastic (V0).

Functions and controls (including Wi-Fi)

The unit offers heating, cooling, and automatic modes, as well as four fan speeds (low, medium, high, auto). Timer and sleep functions can be set directly on the panel; in sleep mode, the target temperature is adjusted by ±2 °C and the fan speed is reduced.

The Wi-Fi module enables remote control via the Smart Life app: mode selection, temperature, fan speeds, timer, and night mode can be controlled remotely. Local onboard control takes precedence; app use requires acceptance of the app's terms and conditions.

Operation and display

Clear control panel with ON/OFF, Up/Down, MODE, AIR VOLUME, and Timing & Sleep buttons. The display shows current inlet/outlet temperatures, operating mode, and fan status. Auto mode switches between heating and cooling depending on the temperature deviation.

Assembly and connection

Wall mounting with included mounting kit (anchors/screws for solid walls and hollow bricks). Minimum clearances: top ≥ 400 mm, in front of the unit ≥ 400 mm, sides ≥ 20 mm, bottom ≥ 80 mm. Mounting instructions are included in the packaging.

Hydraulic connection optionally from the wall or floor, with G1/2" union nut and seal. Recommendation: Y-filter on the return line, pipe insulation (min. 9 mm), condensate drain with sufficient slope and connection to a drain. Electrical connection to a grounded socket with a multi-pole switch; check mains voltage (230 V AC).

Maintenance and cleaning

Polypropylene mesh filters are accessible and should be cleaned regularly. Use only a non-abrasive cloth dampened with water to clean the housing; do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents. Disconnect the power supply before working on the unit.

Recommended regular checks: fan function, hydraulic connections tightness, proper condensate drainage, and the condition of electrical connections. In case of malfunctions, error codes will be displayed (e.g., sensor or motor error).

Safety, disposal and warranty

Important safety instructions: Do not block the device, keep a safe distance from flammable materials, keep children away, and contact customer service in case of damage. Work on electrical components should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
