The pellet boiler ATMOS P30 with wood emergency operation (ATMOS P series – formerly D..P series) is available in the versions ATMOS ATMOS P20, ATMOS P30, ATMOS P40 and ATMOS P50.

These boilers are characterized as automatic, compact, maintenance-friendly and user-friendly pellet heating systems.

Depending on the pellet boiler, the nominal heat output is between 22 – 45 kW for 6-8 mm wood pellets.

The pellet boilers in this ATMOS pellet boiler series cover the heat requirements of single-family homes and multi-family houses.

In order to ensure heat generation in the event of a malfunction in pellet operation, these pellet boilers also offer the option of temporarily switching to emergency wood operation.

The P20 (formerly D20P) is equipped with the ATMOS A25 pellet burner, and the P30, P40, and P50 with the ATMOS A45 pellet burner. The burners can be mounted on the left or right side of the pellet boiler, depending on the location. This offers the advantage that the pellet boiler can be cleaned quickly and easily, regardless of its location in the boiler room.

As with our other pellet boiler series, the pellets are fed to the ATMOS P boiler via a screw conveyor from a separate ATMOS silo, textile storage or on-site storage room.

Depending on the application, we offer screw conveyors in lengths between 1.5 m and 5.0 m. Since ATMOS prioritizes the reliability of its pellet boilers, the screw conveyors in the P series with emergency wood operation are also designed as a straight-running system! The ATMOS P20 has proven particularly effective in single-family homes, as it features an additional induced draft fan, which is helpful for smoke-free operation in emergency wood operation if the existing chimney has insufficient draft.

This also applies to the P30, P40, and P50 pellet boilers. All boilers in this series are eligible for BAFA subsidies.

This means that the total costs for the installation of this heating system are subsidized by up to 45%.

Expansion options for ATMOS pellet boilers with wood emergency operation

To increase comfort, the pellet boiler can be optionally retrofitted with an automatic ash removal system, which transports the ash residue into a collection box located in front of the boiler. Another option is the retrofittable compressed air blow-off system (suitable for the ATMOS A25 and A45 pellet burners), which is highly recommended, especially when using inexpensive pellets.
