Technical data and material quality

The heating system is based on a medium-density fiberboard (MDF) measuring 1200 mm x 600 mm x 18 mm, which features a special milled pattern. This pattern allows for the precise insertion of a 12 mm thick plastic pipe, thus optimizing the heating circuit.

With a tensile strength of 0.75 N/mm², a flexural strength of 30 N/mm², and a thermal conductivity of 0.14 W/mK, the material is highly compressed, moisture-resistant, and completely formaldehyde-free. Its thermal output ranges between 60 and 80 W/m², ensuring even and comfortable heat distribution.

Assembly instructions

The installation takes place in several steps: First, the base plates are laid seamlessly according to the milling pattern. A proper wall clearance of 5 to 10 mm must be taken into account to allow for material expansion.

The panels are then fixed in place with standard wood screws, and the heating pipe, with a maximum length of 80 m per heating circuit, is inserted into the milled pattern. Finally, the heating circuit is connected to ensure the reliable operation of the underfloor heating system.
